A golf tournament to honor the memory of John Viercinski will be held on August 7. John was the Director of Pharmacy at Wyoming Valley Health Care System in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army, a Persian Gulf War veteran and Commander of the 348th General Hospital (HUM). John was an active member of Holy Trinity Church in Swoyersville, a 1976 graduate of the Temple University School of Pharmacy, past Regent of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and inductee into the Hyde Park Softball Hall of Fame.

A Grand Raffle will be held to further our gift to this year’s charity. We are asking any Temple University School of Pharmacy classmate interested in joining us to remember John, as a volunteer, golfer, with a donation, or just walk the fairways, to contact us. John was always an ambassador of Temple University.

Proceeds of the tournament will benefit the Wilkes-Barre Free Clinic, which provides medical care to the uninsured. Your support as a sponsor would be greatly appreciated.
