News/Happenings

Congratulations to Jerry Prusack, '88, of MPA Fairway Pharmacy of Montrose, PA,   who was recognized  as  one of  only five exceptional pharmacists selected in a national poll conducted by  Leader Pharmacies.  The pharmacists exemplified the values of hard work, expertise and dedication to their communities.  Readers of Sound  mind. Sound Body, were asked to write about their favorite pharmacist and the response was overwhelming with entries received from all over the country.    Leader Member Services and Cardinal Health donated $1,000 in the name of Jerry to the School of Pharmacy of his choice, and Jerry designated Temple School of Pharmacy to share in his win.
This is what one of his customers had to say about Jerry:
"He really cares, and it shows," wrote Alana Whisler.  Since Alana's mother had a difficult time understanding her medications and their side effects, he took time to explain her medications and calm her fears.  Jerry always provides customers with his knowledge and care.
