Temple Pharmacy Students Serve
the Community at Annual Health Fair

The Annual Susquehanna Health Fair was held on June 25th at Broad and Susquehanna Streets. The fair is hosted by Representative Jewell Williams, and it gives the community a chance to interact with many different healthcare professions.

This fair provides the students with the opportunity to get further experience within their area of practice. Temple School of Pharmacy Faculty and Students worked alongside Temple School of Medicine and Nursing to bring vital heath care information to the community.

The Pharmacy Students were involved in counseling community members and answering patient-specific questions regarding their medications. They also took blood pressure and gave advice regarding community members’ specific healthcare regimens.
