Recently TUSP alumni, friends, and faculty attended a
multi-school reception at the APhA meeting in San Diego.
The reception was spearheaded by the Pennsylvania
Pharmacists Association and for the first time included all
seven Pennsylvania schools of pharmacy.
Other PA school include: Duquesne University- Mylan
School of Pharmacy, LECOM School of Pharmacy, Thomas Jefferson
School of Pharmacy, University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy,
University of Sciences in Philadelphia/Philadelphia College of
Pharmacy, and Wilkes University- Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. For the fourth consecutive year Temple School of Pharmacy students won the Health Resources and Service Administration/ Pharmacy Services Support Center Award for Prevention Point Harm Reduction Services Project. The meeting was followed by an Alumni & Friends Reception with refreshments and an open bar. Congratulations to Elisa Cocchiarella and Radha Kadiwar who accepted this award.
