Members of the class of 1956 recently held a
50 year weekend reunion that included a football game, dinner
and tour of the School of Pharmacy. Approximately 50 people
attended with some traveling from CA, KY, FL, CO, MD, NJ and DE.
It was unanimously decided not to wait
another fifty years to come together again as a class, but to
gather again in 2016.

Our 50th reunion is over, all had a great time, and I will leave
you with one last reunion jingle while the flavor lingers on...
if you are in a singing mode, think of "My Favorite Things"
(apologies to all!!)
We had the reunion, it was a sensation
For those who stayed over, a mini-vacation
And seeing our classmates, oh my that was great
For each one had stories and tales to relate.
All the memories
Lots of laughter
Lots of friendship, and good will
Playing catch-up
The before and after
All the good things awaiting us still...
A privilege renewing old friendships and greeting
The spouses and friends were all fun to be meeting
Each one from the other, we tried to pick out
Well some have got thinner, and some a bit stout
We are older
Sometimes bolder
But personalities have not changed
We hope we're wiser
From life's experience
That has given our interests broad range.
Everyone looked great, has done lots of good things
Overcome challenges, all that stuff life brings
We look toward the future, remember the past
All in all Temple Pharmacy was a real blast
Glad you joined us,
And those who couldn't
You were missed more than we can say

First and foremost, Stay well! Secondly, STAY IN TOUCH.
Irene and Carl have been talking about getting a newsletter
update out at some point. Here's a mini-update of folks who
couldn't make it but sent their greetings:
Donald Tirpak, a bright student who left us after freshman year
to enter the priesthood. He is now Father Adrian and sent a
photo on his Harley when he turned 70.
Eugene Sebastianelli is still working 60 to 70 hours a week in
his Bellefonet, Pa. pharmacy which includes a gift shop. One of
his daughters graduated pharmacy school.
Jim Wenger sold his Strasburg pharmacy which he had for 23
years; he now works part-time. His real love is working with the
boy scouts where he has been scoutmaster for 39 years.
Homer Butler, who died a few years ago, led a remarkable life.
The web-site for Homer is

Marlene Rafner is now in the antique business, having retired
from pharmacy a few years ago.
Peggy Glinsky is retired and loving it in Sarasota FL
We had a great deal of fun setting this up, and were happy to
hear so many appreciative comments. And we hope to do this again
in different ways. Peggy Loftus Glinsky suggests that the
snowbirds get together in Florida during the winter. Let her
know if you are interested/available.
And don't forget, when you are asked to give a little back,
whether you are active in Pharmacy now or are engaged in some
other venture, or are retired, please show your appreciation for
the great undergrad degree you earned at Temple University
School of Pharmacy in 1956!!
All the best.
