Marilou Watson was recently selected for the Philadelphia Business Journal's 2011 Life Science Award in the category of best consultant. Marilou and her fellow award-winners will be recognized on Oct. 6 at The Ballroom at The Ben, where the highest ranking winners in each category will be honored.

Marilou is a registered U.S. patent attorney who represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on foreign and domestic patent prosecution; client counseling; infringement analysis; patent invalidity and freedom to operate studies and Hatch-Waxman issues related to ANDA filings; and licensing, due diligence and divestiture matters in the chemical and pharmaceutical arts. She has also been a registered pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for more than 20 years. She currently serves as co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee and assists in spearheading initiatives that promote firm-wide diversity and inclusiveness.
