Congratulations to the Temple University School of Pharmacy team who won the NJPhAStudent Self-Care/Clinical Challenge for the second year in a row (and 3 of the last 4 years).
The team of Jordann Jordan, Kayla Vujovich, Sean McGonigle and Justin Nixon competed in Atlantic City at the 146th NJPhA Annual Meeting and Convention against teams from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at University of the Sciences, Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University and Rutgers University School of Pharmacy.
The competition tested students on general clinical knowledge including: pharmacology, pharmacotherapeutics, current clinical guidelines and the proper use of over-the-counter medications. Teams were asked a series of 15 questions per round and the team answering the most correct then advanced to the next round. Temple University School of Pharmacy advanced to the final versus Rutgers who they defeated. The TUSP team excelled and only missed two questions during the whole competition.
