The School of Pharmacy's annual Research Recognition Day was recently held. It featured 57 posters presented by graduate and professional students aswell as those undergraduate students from the college of Science and Technology who are doing research in our labs, along with their faculty mentors.
The day began with a lecture entitled Biased Ligands for Better Drugs: Turning Novel Science into a Biotech Company by Dr. Scott DeWire, Assistant Director and Co-founder, Trevena, Inc. who supported the lecture. Following a luncheon, the students presented their research to judges from industry, health care and academic institutions.
