Members of the Class of 2013 along with Ph.D. candidates were inducted into Rho Chi, Beta Lambda Chapter with a formal ceremony and luncheon on February 21. Presiding at the induction were President Poonam Chhunchha, Vice President Kristin Campbell, Secretary Owen Haney, Treasurer Achint Patel and Faculty Adviser Daniel J. Canney, Ph.D. Associate Professor Deborah DeEugenio, Pharm.D. was the honorary faculty inductee.
In attendance were Dr. Peter H. Doukas, Dr. Ina Calligaro, both of whom addressed the assembly, family and friends of the inductees and faculty from the School of Pharmacy. Inductees received recognition certificates and the Rho Chi key. A luncheon followed the ceremony.

Eligibility for membership in Rho Chi requires full-time enrollment in an accredited professional pharmacy program, completion of no less than one-half of the required professional didactic course work, rank in the highest twenty percent of their class and attainment of a minimum professional grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
The Beta Lambda Chapter of Rho Chi is very active, participating in many School events including Research Recognition Day and the much anticipated annual Student/Faculty Sporting Event.
