PharmaBioSource is seeking an Associate to join our team.  This position is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the strategic issues that face today's biopharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as the specific challenges affecting the healthcare marketplace as a whole. The complexities of the industry provide an additional opportunity for Associates to be challenged as they gain a commanding knowledge of both the science and business sides of healthcare. The combination of a specific industry focus and a smaller sized firm affords PBS team members the opportunity to take on substantial responsibility from the start. Job Qualifications

        The successful candidate for an Associate position will have the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree with exposure to quantitative disciples such as finance and science; candidates with backgrounds in biology, chemistry, pharmacy/pharmacology are especially encouraged to apply.  Excellent computer skills are required, with experience in using all MS office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).   A minimum of 1-2 years work experience is preferred. 

Job activities include:

§          Conduct extensive primary research and interviewing in the healthcare marketplace including: analysts, suppliers, distributors, customers, competitors, physicians, public and private payers, etc.

§          Perform comprehensive secondary literature research to supplement primary findings

§          Analyze and synthesize research results in order to develop conclusions and insights

§          ·Write and assist in delivery of presentations to clients

§          Communicate with officers of the firm and share strategic key findings with clients

§          Thrive and “think outside the box” in a challenging environment that requires Associates to continually develop solutions to complex issues in a limited timeframe

§          Provide significant input into the recommendations delivered to the client

§          Actively grow the firm via involvement in Business Development activities.
