*Students are required to complete 10-12 elective credits during the third year of the curriculum. A variety of electives are offered allowing students to gain a greater depth of knowledge in specific areas of pharmacy.  In addition to the general elective choices, students may choose to complete a specialty practice elective track in Advanced Clinical Practice, Clinical Research, Drug Safety or Nuclear Pharmacy.  Students may also fulfill elective requirements necessary to earn a certificate in Business through collaboration between the School of Pharmacy and the University’s Fox School of Business and Management.

Fourth Professional Year Curriculum

All students are required to complete the following six 5 – week advanced professional practice rotations. These rotations are scheduled throughout the student’s fourth year (May-May). Three 5-week vacation rotations are randomly scheduled during the year. All students are off during the University Winter Recess between the fall and spring semesters.
