Biosketch
Dr. Wong is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences. After receiving his profession degree of Pharmacy at University of Toronto, he worked as a pharmacy manager for two years, and returned to Toronto to earn his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He later completed his post-doctoral training at Ohio State University. Dr. Wong's research focused on the use of nanotechnology to improve the therapeutic efficiency of anticancer compounds, in particular, the strategic use of lipid-polymer hybrid nanotechnology and lipid-based drug delivery systems to deliver novel molecular therapeutics and lipophilic small molecule drugs in single agents or combinations for treatment and prevention of drug-resistant, metastatic cancers.
