"As we enter a new millennium in pharmaceutical care, direct therapeutic intervention by pharmacists is essential. They must be prepared to work as a team with other health professionals to provide patients with the best medical care. Temple's Doctor of Pharmacy program provided me with essential tools to develop and implement comprehensive skills in relation to pharmacy practice, communication, and patient care. It taught me that clinical pharmacy skills as well as a deep understanding of the patient's condition and frame of mind are needed to have a direct impact on therapeutic outcomes. The program's intense, hands-on clinical pharmacy experience is what makes me an exceptional pharmacist." |

"Temple University taught me how to learn. The staff used interactive teaching styles which made the experience of school approach real life expectations. The staff of educators were caring and deeply involved in wanting their students to succeed. I have not only learned my specialty, but also learned how to educate others. I would definitely recommend Temple University School of Pharmacy. What I enjoyed most was the warm, personal, caring atmosphere created by the staff." |

"I have worked in positions of ascending responsibility at Temple University Hospital, since graduating from Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1974. The expertise of my professors and the school's thorough and extensive academic program included superb practical experience which prepared me to uphold Temple University Hospitals high standard of patient care. My educational experience qualified me to be versatile in many aspects of pharmacy, enabling me to be a member of the clinical, outpatient, and academic departments of the Temple University Health Care System. If I had to do it all over again, I would, without a doubt, choose Temple University's School of Pharmacy." |
