Welcome to the web page for the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Residency of the Temple University Health System. This program is designed for pharmacists seeking advanced training in infectious diseases and is administered by a partnership between the Temple University Health System and Temple University School of Pharmacy. This partnership allows the resident to participate in a diversity of clinical and educational opportunities between the two adjacent institutions. There are three ID pharmacists between the two institutions that provide services to the ID consult team, administer an antimicrobial stewardship program, and run an HIV clinic. The residency is particularly suited for those with an interest in clinical and didactic teaching, as the role of the pharmacist as an educator is emphasized.
The residency is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
