2006-2007 school year
While detailed results are not yet available, the state has announced that two of the four Partnership Schools, Duckrey and Ferguson, made Adequate Yearly Progress based on spring 2007 PSSA results.
2005-2006 school year
Temple Partnership School students made significant
improvements in math and literacy in 2005-2006,
according to the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment
tests administered last spring. In math 35.3% of tested students
scored at or above grade level, an increase of 18.1 percentage points from
2005. In reading, 24.2% of tested students scored at or above grade level, representing an 8.2 percentage point increase over the previous year.
Since the Partnership's instructional program was started in fall, 2003, the percentage of students showing grade level (proficient) achievement or better has increased signficantly. In math, the percentage has gone from 6.1% to 35.3% of tested students, an increase of 29.2 percentage points. In reading, the percentage has gone from 10.0% to 24.2%, an increase of 14.2 percentage points. These improvements exceed the average increases among Philadelphia's Education Management Organizations (EMOs) as a group, and in math, the Temple Partnership Schools' increase is the highest among all six EMOs.
