The objective of this lecture series is to
provide an overview and practical guidelines
in designing, performing, evaluating, and
publishing clinical research.

currently involved or would like to

elements needed to formulate a research
question and hypothesis
Discuss regulations
and guidelines to conduct high quality
clinical research
Describe the ethical
and regulatory underpinnings for clinical
research studies
Understand the
basic elements of statistics needed
to design a clinical research study
and analyze its results
Develop a successful
strategy for locating and obtaining
funding for clinical research
