The mission of the Office of Clinical Research
at the Temple University Health Sciences Center
is to enhance and help to facilitate all funded
clinical research opportunities at the Temple
University Health Sciences Center. The Office
of Clinical Research is a centralized resource
for clinical researchers throughout the health
sciences center. OCR and its sections has the
capability to provide services to the health
sciences faculty on a variety of clinical, biostatistical,
clinical trial management, new drug investigation,
quality assurance, and federal regulatory services
required for obtaining and conducting quality
clinical research studies while helping to improve
health care for our patients
Biostatistics Consulting Center
The Biostatistics Consulting Center provides comprehensive statistical consulting
and data analysis services to Temple researchers. High quality statistical consulting
leads to appropriate experimental design and hypothesis testing. Calculation
of sample size provides adequate power and successful experimentation. Appropriate
data analysis and interpretation ensures high quality results and facilitates
publication and regulatory review.
