This online program is designed to meet the individual needs of students transferring to Temple University. Included in this on-line orientation you will find important information regarding your academic program and campus life.

By commencing your on-line orientation you accept responsibility for knowing the content and printing the required pages for your academic advising session.

TRANSFER ON-CAMPUS DAY

If you'd like to meet other transfer students and to learn about student services ejoin us for the Transfer On-Campus Day. This program will not include your advising session.

To register for a Transfer On-Campus Day, please e-mail orientation@temple.edu the date you would like to attend, your name and your TU ID# (9-digit number). There is no cost for you to participate in this program.

Transfer On-Campus Days: June 26, July 18 and August 22.

A NOTE ABOUT PLACEMENT TESTING

Please be sure to carefully read the section regarding Placement Testing for Transfer students. You are responsible for determining what, if any, Placement Tests you need based on what you have been instructed by Admissions in your transfer credit evaluation and the exceptions detailed on our site. Regardless of your exemption status, certain majors have pre-requisites and require Placement Testing. Please check what applies to your major!

Please make sure you take note of when and where your placement test will take place.

WANT A LITTLE EXTRA FROM YOUR ORIENTATION EXPERIENCE?
addition to completing this on-line orientation, join us for an on-campus orientation. Three on campus dates are availble beginning in June. Check in will begin at 8:30AM in the Student Center, located at 13th street and Montgomery street. Your program will begin at 9:00AM. If you are interested in attending, please email orientation@temple.edu.
