:: Type of New Student Orientation

Temple’s Office of Orientation offers two types of programs to better accommodate the varying needs of incoming freshmen. The type of orientation you will attend is determined by where you live in relation to Temple’s Main Campus. Students who live greater than 70 miles from campus will attend an out-of-town orientation designed specifically for out-of-town students. Students who live locally, fewer than 70 miles, will attend a local orientation designed for local students. For local students placement testing will need to be scheduled at least one week prior to the orientation date.
