Q. I'm a Vendor, how do I pay my rent?
A. All Temple University vendors are invoiced monthly for any rental fees. Vendors must come to the Business Services Office (1700 N. Broad Street, Suite 415) to receive a receipt.
Q. How do I get reimbursed for money lost in the Pepsi and Canteen Vending Machines?
A. The person who lost the money must contact the Business Services Office at 215-204-7271 to provide us with contact information and a current address of where the money can be sent for reimbursement. You may also complete the Online Reimbursement Form.
Q. The Vending Machine is empty, what should I do?
A. Contact the Business Services Office at 215-204-7271. We will place a call to the appropriate Vendor's Maintenance Office to come and restock the machine(s).
Q. The change machine is empty, who do I call?
A. Contact our office at 215-204-7271 to report the location of the machine. The vendor responsible for the machine will be contacted to come and refill the machine.
Q. I lost money in the Printers/Copy Machines on campus, what should I do?
A. Contact the Business Services office at 215-204-7271 to provide us with specific information regarding the loss. This information will be given to the Diamond Dollars Office, as any money lost MUST be placed back onto your Student ID for future use. No Cash Will Be Given. You may also complete the Online Reimbursement Form.
Q. I lost money on a Guest Copying Card, what should I do?
A. Contact the Business Services Office at 215-204-7271 to provide your name and Guest Card number (found on the front of your card.) This information will be given to the Diamond Dollars Office, and the money lost will be put back onto your guest card. You may also complete the Online Reimbursement Form.
Q. The coffee machine is not working properly, who should I call?
A. Contact Business Services at 215-204-7271 to provide us with the location of the machine. The vendor responsible for the maintenance of the machine will be sent out to repair it.
Q. I have a property to sell, what should I do?
A. Contact Linda Frazer, Director of Business Services, at 215-204-7271 or Richard Rumer, Associate Vice President, at 215-204-5144. Be prepared to give the location, address, condition of the property, etc. Either of them will assist you in any way possible. Please Note that there is no guarantee that Temple University purchase your property.
Q. I want to rent retail space on campus, how do I do that?
A. Any retail space you are interested in on Temple’s campus(es) should have a contact number located somewhere on the property. The owners of the lost must be contacted directly to assist you with the rental. If you need additional assistance, please contact Linda Frazer, Director of Business Services, at 215-204-7271, or Richard Rumer, Associate Vice President, at 215-204-5144.
Q. I want to use the Temple logo, how do I do that?
A. Contact Linda Frazer, Director of Business Services, at 215-204-7271, to start the process. You can also refer to the Trademark Licensing Policy which you can access from the homepage of the Business Services website.
Q. I want to use an outside agency to purchase airline tickets/hotel rooms/cater my event, what should I do?
A. The Travel, Hotel, and Catering Exception forms are downloadable from the Business Services website. These forms will need to be completed and forwarded to Evelyn Rush in the Office of Business Services, along with copies of supporting itineraries, receipts, and/or quotes. Please refer to the Exception Policies located online through the Business Services website for further explanation.
Q. Does Temple have any discounted rates with any hotels or car rental providers?
A. We sure do. Some of the hotels within the Philadelphia region that offer 'Temple Rates' include: The Conwell Inn, The Doubletree Hotel, Club Quarters, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Holiday Inn Express. The contact information for each is located within the Business Services website. Call them up and request the 'Temple Rate'.
As far a car rentals go, Temple has a Corporate Account with Enterprise Car Rental which provide discounted rental rates to Temple-Affiliated persons. Please refer to the Enterprise Car Rental website located within the Business Services website for more information.
