I became involved with student and faculty orientations about the technologies in use for online teaching and learning. In addition to being part of the assessment team that design the student online assessment tools, I developed strategies and support services to promote better information about the online and videoconferencing characteristics

While participating in a one year International Exchange Program (IPX) I received training in early intervention strategies and technologies not yet existent in Brazil. In addition, this opportunity also exposed me to a multicultural and diverse clientele and special needs support systems.

  As I was working on my college degrees, I was in charge of Drijoleky’s summer camp activities, which were targeted to children from 4 to 11 years old. This position exposed me to numerous staff management situations such as creating guidelines and procedures for hiring camp counselors; develop training orientation sessions for new camp counselors, and evaluation of camp activities and tasks accomplishments. It also exposed me to recruiting and marketing strategies.
