BTMM333/633: Global Telecommunications The objective of this course is to examine global communication systems and their evolution, the controversial issues arising from the flow of communication among nations and cultures, and to explore the--often conflicting--policies that influence international, regional and national communication. Emphasis will be placed on examining the key parallel trends of the convergence and globalization of communication and information technologies and markets. Students will be given ample opportunity to present their own analysis and evaluation of these trends through a variety of writing assignments. Please note that: 1) In the Spring
