ECON
616 -- Econometrics II This is the second in a two-semester sequence for students in the M.A. and Ph.D. programs. The topics include the various approaches to using time series - cross section data, simultaneous equations, the analysis of economic time series, and models with discrete and limited dependent variables. The online section will be run concurrently with the face-to-face section on the main campus. All of the lectures, homework assignments, data sets and supplementary materials can be found on the course web site. Questions and tutorial needs will be handled via e-mail and the Economics Department's chat room. The distance student will have to travel to one of Temple's campuses in Tokyo, Rome, Harrisburg, PA and Philadelphia in order to write a mid-term and final. If those sites are not feasible then other arrangements will be made. |
