Office of International Services

The only thing Temple University requires in terms of inoculations is the meningitis vaccine and that is only if you are living in the residence halls.

Once you are here in the fall, you might be contacted by student health services if you are from a country with a high rate of tuberculosis will receive information about scheduling the tuberculosis screening.

If you are not contacted then you do not need to do the tuberculosis screening.

Students living in the Residence Halls are required to have the meningitis vaccine or sign a waiver declining the vaccine. This must be completed before they move into the Residence Halls.

Please see the Student Health Services' website at http://www.temple.edu/studenthealth/Immunizations.html for additional information.
