The application process:
A student who wishes to study at Temple University in F-1 or J-1 non-immigrant student status must obtain and obtain and submit BOTH the application for admissions from the appropriate office or web site and the Application for a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20).
Please note that any questions you have regarding the admissions process must be sent directly to the Office of Admissions or the admitting department.
Any questions you have regarding admissions requirements, deadlines, received items must be sent directly to the admitting department. The OIS is in no way involved in the admissions process.
Therefore, please do not contact the OIS with questions about the status of your admission application. A site index is available at http://www.temple.edu/site_index.html. You can find contact information regarding any TU department at that site.
Each College/School has different deadlines and requirements. The OIS will not be able to address questions about admissions status and your admitting department will not address questions about the status of your I-20 application.
Similarly, the Office of Admissions or the admitting department cannot address questions about the status of your I-20 application.
Send your application for admission to the university to the appropriate office. The address will be listed on the application.
Send a copy of your financial documentation directly to the ois via fax at 215 204 6166 or email at ois@temple.edu.
You do not have to submit the application for an I-20 with the admission application. However, if
you submit your application for admission
without submitting your application for an
I-20/DS2019 you may experience a delay in
receiving your document as it takes some time
for our office to receive and process your
application.
You can check the status of your admissions application and I-20 application at http://owlnet.temple.edu/. You will need your AccessNet username and password that was issued to you by Temple University.
Undergraduate applicants can obtain their AccessNet username and password at https://tuhelp.temple.edu/applicants/
