- The
Office of International Services is usually allocated
a small amount of funds to be distributed to international
students who have been studying at Temple University
for at least one academic year and who can
demonstrate an unexpected loss of funding due to
extenuation circumstance. Details regarding the
application deadlines are posted to tu-intl,
our electronic listserv. You should make sure you're

Incoming Undegraduate Students
- Financial aid
for international students applying to the undergraduate
programs at Temple University is not very easy to
secure. In fact,
currently the only financial aid available to prospective
undergraduate international students is through the
Office of Undergraduate Admissions and is offered
through a very competitive process. International
students can be considered for this financial aid
only if they present scores in excess of 1300 on the
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), in addition to other
documents required for consideration of an application
for admission.
To get more information about submitting an application
as an undergraduate international student, you should
look at the web page of
the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at http://www.temple.edu/sfs/scholarships.htm.
Incoming Graduate Students
-
If you are considering applying for admission to Temple
as a graduate student, you will need to communicate
with the academic department to which you are applying
for admission. All financial aid or scholarships at
the graduate level are managed through the individual
academic departments
The Office of International Services
would like to remind you that financial aid resources
are very limited for graduate students and extremely
limited for undergraduate students.
The following resources are being
suggested:
- Graduate
students can try to obtain non-departmental assistantships
at http://www.temple.edu/cares
- Undergraduate
students can try to talk to their academic
advisors about the possibility to be nominated
for one of many available financial aid awards (e.g. Cosby Award).
- Visit
the office of student financial service's web site
at http://www.temple.edu/sfs.
