Filmmaker Bio

Tolga Dilsiz
[Director's Statement]

With this melodramatic short, I would like to give the audience an opportunity, to catch a small view on a part and human being of Istanbul. The problems and thoughts of the Main Actor are shown and told in the circle of turkish culture and conventions, but still intelligible for the occidental viewer. At the same time, the local theme will be sounded in an all-purpose way.

This film ought to pay tribute to this beautiful profession and its quiet disappearance - and should help us to keep it in good remembrance.
