Utilizing stop-motion film techniques, Reveries from Cistae memoria is a subjective and oneiric journey through the creation, storage and recall of one's memories. The film weaves the true-life letters and stories of the filmmaker's grandparents with fabricated and reconstructed memories and images to impress on the viewer the frustration and sublime beauty of fractured memory due to age and disease.
