Filmmaker Bio

Matthew Rankin
Matthew Rankin was born in Winnipeg in 1978. He studied in Montreal, Quebec City and Iran. He directed animated films at Radio-Canada before going into experimental filmmaking. Rankin is a founding member of the prestigious film society, l'Atelier national du Manitoba.
