Upon completion of college-level Army ROTC requirements, students earn their 2nd Lt. bar and are commissioned for military service.
Osman has been selected for the Infantry Branch in the United States Army Reserve with active duty status.
He will graduate with a degree in kinesiology in August.
Women usually represent about 20 percent of the commissioned ROTC graduates; however, among the eight students who were commissioned this year, half were women.
