MUSICAL MEMORY MADE MANAGEABLE

Taught by Sandrine Erdely-Sayo

Do you have difficulty memorizing musical pieces? Many people think that musical memory involves only aural memory when actually 7 different types are involved.  By learning how these 7 memories function and interact, musicians will acquire a rational approach and improved self control for memorizing pieces. In this 90-minute session, you will find a solution to principal problems of memory: how mnemonic development is related to several mental faculties, how the will and concentration is related to the nervous system and how consciousness and unconsciousness work together. Taking a musical and scientific approach, learn how attention, method and health are key to facilitating musical memory.

One 90-minute session

5:30 to 7:00 PM - Thursday, November 6

Or

5:30 to 7:00 PM - Thursday, April 16

Tuition: $20
