Since its establishment in 1959 as the first American African homeownership community in Philadelphia, Yorktown has been quiet, safe and family oriented neighborhood for its residents. Although some residents in Yorktown desire to rent out their extra rooms to temporary residents these days, renting out homes and rooms is not happening in Yorktown. The characteristic of community for a long term has a lot to do with a reason why. |
