  • QualPage brings together links to a large collection of resources for qualitative research, including announcements of conferences, calls for papers, discussion forums, organizations and interest groups, publishers of journals and books for qualitative researchers, teaching materials, and Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) software.
     
  • Those interested in qualitative analyses of text, sounds, graphics, audio, and video, may find the web site of ResearchWare, Inc. useful. In addition to details about and demos of the company's software, called HyperRESEARCH, the site contains links to other resources related to qualitative analyses (follow the link to the 'resources' page).
     
  • The Internet Archive is a collection of Web pages from the past several years, including special collections related to September 11, 2001 and the 2000 presidential election. It also contains links to The Television Archive and The Movie Archive.
     
  • A doctoral student in Communication at Rutgers University has compiled an impressive set of 300+ categorized links to web sites related to communication and research.
     
  • The Digital Democracy Project attempts to understand and contribute to political uses of the Internet with resources on global, national, and local political issues. The web site was created by students in Professor Zizi Papacharissi's Political Communication course (MMC 647) in the spring 2002 semester.
     
  • Find thousands of online journals, including online versions of print journals and Internet-only journals, at the Electronic Journal Miner.
     
  • The online edition of The Iowa Guide: Scholarly Journals in Mass Communication and Related Fields "helps scholars find appropriate journals in which to publish their work and offers advice on how to prepare manuscripts for publication."
