Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) has again been recognized by US News & World Report as one of the most popular medical schools in the nation in terms of applications received. TUSM received 10,600 applications for the 2012-2013 year, the sixth-highest total in the nation, up from seventh last year.
“Temple University School of Medicine has such a rich tradition for attracting a wonderfully diverse student body with a wide range of out-of-classroom interests and a real commitment to connecting with our community and to serving others,” notes Audrey Uknis, MD, Senior Associate Dean for Admissions and Strategy. “Applicants are drawn to our collaborative learning environment and our caring faculty members.”
“On top of all of that, we have a long-standing reputation for an unbeatable clinical experience,” she adds. “It’s no surprise to us that there is such a high level of interest in our school.”
