clinical research center

The Clinical Research Center (CRC) Unit provides space to perform clinical research on 4 West of Temple University Hospital.  This unit is maintained through the support of Temple University School of Medicine and Temple University Hospital to perform clinical research.  The CRC Unit has the potential for three rooms for inpatient/outpatient studies and an additional room for outpatient studies.

Investigators who would like to perform studies in the CRC Unit must have their research protocols approved by both the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the CRC Advisory Committee.  Instructions for submitting a research study to be considered for use by the CRC are found on the link below, entitled "Submitting a Research Protocol".  Once the study is approved by the CRC Advisory Committee, information on the process of starting the study and scheduling patients is found on the link below, "Starting the Study After Approval".  Information for potential research subjects and patients is found under the link, "Patient and Study Subject Information".

The CRC also sponsors numerous educational teaching sessions about clinical research for investigators, study coordinators and any person interested in clinical research.
