RESOURCES FOR INVESTIGATORSFLOW CYTOMETRY core facilityThe Flow Cytometry Core Facility serves the analytical and cell sorting needs of researchers throughout Temple University. The facility offers 4-way high speed cell sorting and complex analytical services. The instrumentation includes two analyzers (BD Calibur and BD LSR II) and two sorters (BD FACSAria IIµ and BD Influx). Investigators are encouraged to perform their own analyses on the analyzers. Specialized training classes are offered for those researchers who wish to better understand the principles and techniques employed in this technology. Cell sorting services are provided by facility staff.
In addition, the facility provides consultation, technical advice, collaboration, and advice on sample preparation and data anlysis. The facility works closely with investigators so they can achieve optimum results from the state-of-the-art technical resources.
