TUSM Postbaccalaureate Program

Information for Prospective Students

Our BCMS students come from a variety of backgrounds before deciding to change careers and pursue medicine. They may join us directly after completing their undergraduate education or after years in an established profession. Students in the class of 2013-2014 come from a wide range of careers, including an anthropologist, a financial consultant, a muscian, an independent historical preservation consultant,  a financial analyst, a high school Latin  teacher, a writer, and a Rabbi. All of them made the decision to change their lives and take their first step toward becoming a medical professional with Temple University School of Medicine's Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program.
