BCMS ENTERING PROFILE FOR 2012
Our BCMS students come from a variety of backgrounds before deciding to change careers and pursue medicine. They may join us directly after completing their undergraduate education or after years in an established profession. Students in the class of 2012-2013 come from a wide range of careers, including an anthropologist, a financial consultant, a muscian, an independent historical preservation consultant, a financial analyst, a high school Latin teacher, a writer, and a Rabbi. All of them made the decision to change their lives and take their first step toward becoming a medical professional with Temple University School of Medicine's Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program.

ACMS ENTERING PROFILE FOR 2012
Many of our ACMS students have previously unsuccessfully applied to medical school and seek to enhance their academic credentials and their knowledge of more advanced topics in the sciences to achieve optimum preparation for success in medical school. They have worked, volunteered or shadowed in a clinical setting or in another service-related capacity before entering our program. At the time of nterview, they demonstrate the characteristics indicative of compassion, professionalism and ethics that we look for in our medical students.
