About Our Program
Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program students are enrolled in MCAT preparation spanning the fall and spring semesters. MCAT preparatory sessions are held at the School of Medicine in a customized course specifically tailored to the needs of our Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program students. We begin your preparation with a 13-week session designed to strengthen critical reading and comprehension skills, and present strategies and tactics for taking the MCAT test.
The MCAT preparatory sessions are introduced in late fall and continue through spring and the end of the program, preparing our students for the basic sciences such as physics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and verbal skills. Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program students sit for their MCAT test in May at the completion of the program.
