Current research includes the laboratory evaluation of new antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents, the evaluation of new diagnostic tests and technologies in the areas of clinical microbiology, immunology and virology, the evaluation of blood culture instruments and technologies, and the description and reporting of case presentations and reviews of new and interesting organisms and infectious diseases.
