Frank Baldino, Jr. Student Travel Award

Award Details

 

The Frank Baldino, Jr. Student Travel Award consists of $1,000 to partially defray the costs of travel to a scientific meeting or to give a scientific presentation.

 

A total of ten awards will be given annually--five in the fall and five in the spring.  Deadlines for receipt of applications are:

 

Spring   April 15

Fall        September 15

Awards will be made following review of applications by the awards committee comprising graduate studies directors from the basic science programs and a representative of the medical students.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Full-time students in doctoral programs, medical students, and MD/PhD students who will not have completed their degree requirements by the time of the meeting are eligible.

 

 

Terms of the Award

 

  • Students must present a poster or oral presentation
  • Abstracts must be submitted with the application
  • The student's advisor/mentor must agree to presentation of the data
