Postbaccalaureate programs

admissions information

Admission to both the Basic Core in Medical Science (BCMS) and the Advanced Core in Medical Science (ACMS) Programs is on a rolling basis. In order for an application to be considered complete, the Office of Postbaccalaureate Admissions needs to receive a complete, signed application; a $50 application fee; transcripts from all undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools attended; standardized test scores; an updated copy of your resume and letters of support as outlined below. An interview is required for candidates under serious consideration.

If you are applying for the Advanced Core in Medical Science (ACMS) Program and applied to Temple University School of Medicine in the entering 2008 application cycle, your letters of recommendation submitted as part of your MD application can be used to complete your letter requirement. All other applicants should submit three (3) letters of recommendation. At least two of those letters should be from faculty members familiar with your academic record. If you have had a health-care related experience (volunteer, service, or other), please request a letter that will reflect that involvement.
