Our new Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program will provide you with the opportunity to fulfill your goal of entering the medical profession. Successful students entering Temple University School of Medicine Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. Temple University School of Medicine Post Baccalaureate Premedical Program offers two tracks:
Successful applicants have a B or higher average in their undergraduate work, have competitive standardized test scores, and have worked or volunteered in a clinical setting or in another service related capacity prior to application. Students are encouraged to apply early to this highly selective program.
The BCMS Program gives college graduates the opportunity to take the required science courses for admission to medical school by enrolling in full time study and completing the core premedical curriculum while preparing for the MCAT . A formal MCAT preparation program spans the Fall and Spring semester is integrated into the schedule. The following characteristics will be essential for the successful applicant:

The ACMS program gives college graduates an enhanced level of science courses taught by our medical school faculty while engaged in an MCAT preparation program that spans the Fall and Spring semester.
