Most of the students accepted into the Program are generally provided with a MD/PhD fellowship throughout the seven years of study.  This includes full tuition remission throughout both the medical and graduate school years and a stipend starting at $13,000 per year.  During the Graduate Studies part of the program, the stipend increases to $20,565.30.

 

Temple is a state-affiliated university. Tuition for the 2008-2009 academic years for the medical school is $40,060 per year for Pennsylvania residents and $49,064 per year for out-of-state residents. Full-time graduate school is $573 per semester hour for Pennsylvania residents and $837 per semester hour for out-of-state residents. Students accepted into the funded MD/PhD Program receive a full-time tuition waiver and a stipend as described above.
