Graduate ProgramsInformation and Helpful Links for Current and Former Students
Registration. Each semester the Graduate Studies office will provide students with a list of courses offered within the Integrated Biomedical Science curriculum and by each graduate program. Students should meet with their advisor to discuss the classes they will be taking. Students then may register on-line at http://owlnet.temple.edu/. To maintain full-time status, students need to register for 9 credit hours each semester. Once coursework is complete, students may register for 1 credit hour of one of the following: 9994 Preliminary Examination, 9996 Master's Thesis, 9998 Dissertation Proposal or 9999 Dissertation Research, and will automatically be classified as full-time.
Transcript Requests and Degree Confirmation. MS and PhD students should direct requests for copies of their transcripts to Academic Records at Temple University Main Campus, NOT to the School of Medicine. Transcripts can be obtained by submitting the form located at www.temple.edu/registrar/services.html#transcript. Information on verification of degrees and enrollment can also be found at Academic Records.
Graduate Student Listserv. Students are advised of important matters through the Graduate Student Listserv. Please note that Temple University policy requires that only Temple email addresses can be used on the Listserv. Remember to check your Temple email regularly.
Graduate Student Association. The Graduate Programs at Temple have a very active and effective Graduate Student Association (GSA), which sponsors career workshops, social events and an annual Research Day. Election of new GSA officers takes place annually.
