Ethical Issues in the Medical Treatment

of a Homeless Patient

This seminar and round-table panel discussion was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Temple University Hospital's Erny Auditorium.  It was sponsored by the Temple University Hospital Ethics Committee; the Center for Urban Bioethics and Humanities; Office of the Dean, Temple University School of Medicine; Philadelphia Pharmacy; and Project H.O.M.E.

 

Keynote speaker was Dr. Kenneth Prager, Professor of Clinical Medicine; Director, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons; and Clinical Ethics Chairman, Medical Ethics Committee.

 

The panel discussion included:
