Fels Research Day 2008

Friday, October 24, 2008

Student Faculty Center

Main Lobby and 4th Floor Auditorium

Fels Research Day is the “In-house” meeting of the Fels Institute For Cancer Research and Molecular Biology. The scientific organization rotates among faculty members, who organize the meting, and is presided by the Director of the Fels Institute, Dr. E. Premkumar Reddy. This meeting is an informal forum that brings together the Fels community with the aim of sharing data on the scientific progress made by all the groups at The Fels Institute. Students, postdoctoral fellows and other investigators in training present their data either as short talks or posters. A jury of well-recognized researchers from outside Temple University selects the best three presentations in both categories, and the selected participants are awarded prizes. This is an all-day event and all participants have an opportunity to interact over breakfast and lunch.
