A Pilot Study to Assess the Effects of a

Pre-Packaged, Portion Controlled Meal Plan on

Type 2 Diabetes and Glycemic Control

 

Temple University is seeking persons with type 2 diabetes, not using insulin, who are overweight or obese and between the ages of 21-75 for a six-month research study at Jeanes Hospital located at 7500 Central Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.

 

Eligible individuals will receive:

  • Nutritional and lifestyle weekly group counseling for six months at no cost
  • A daily supply of pre-packaged, portion controlled means
  • Medical evaluations
  • Compensation included
