Residency Program Application Information

 

Applications for PGY-1 positions to matriculate in July 2008 is available through ERAS.  Applicants for advanced standing (PG-2 or PG-3) must have passed all USMLE exams (Steps 1, 2 and 3).  They must be in good standing in the program they are leaving or have completed training in another specialty.  They should apply directly by sending a letter and a curriculum vitae to:

Applicants from LCME-accredited medical schools, Canadian medical schools and schools of osteopathy must have passed USMLE Step 2 or COMLEX 2 prior to matriculating. 

 

International Medical Graduates who hold a bachelor’s degree from an American university but have attended medical school abroad must either be citizens or permanent residents of the United States, and must have passed USMLE Step 2 prior to matriculation.

 

All other International Medical Graduates must either be citizens or permanent residents of the United States and must have passed USMLE Step 3 prior to matriculation.
