Programs and Services - Pulmonary Function Lab

The Pulmonary Critical Care Division performs state-of-the-art testing of respiratory function. Routine tests of lung function (spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity) are complemented by a range of advanced physiologic tests to facilitate diagnostic testing in select patients. Diaphragm strength, chest wall and lung stiffness, airway hyper-responsiveness and assessment of the central control of respiration may also be evaluated.
