Residency Program

Goals and Objectives

The purpose of the program is to prepare the physician for the autonomous practice of clinical neurology. The training is based on supervised and progressively graduated clinical work with outpatients and inpatients. The program requires its residents to obtain competencies in the following areas:

  • The clinical practice of neurology
  • The theoretical basis of clinical practice
  • Diagnostic tests relating to neurology
  • Teaching and communication skills
  • Basic research techniques
  • Professional ethics
  • Socioeconomic issues relating to practice
