Department of Medicine - Section of CardiologyReferring Physician Information
Temple's physicians and staff work closely with referring physicians to ensure that each patient receives an individually tailored treatment. Ongoing communication is a priority, and we show our commitment through timely reports and documentation. Our physicians are always accessible by phone or fax for questions or discussion.
Our goal is to send patients back to their physicians with the information they need to continue treatment while providing them with the highest quality care while they're at Temple.
The physician liaison serves as a personal contact for referring physicians to facilitate communication, provide information, and address issues or concerns that need attention.
Patients arriving at Temple University Hospital have access to our Concierge Service, a liaison between patients, families and hospital staff, to assist in answering questions and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Patients due to arrive at Temple University Hospital receive a call from the concierge directing them where to park. Patients and their families are met at the door and escorted through the hospital to their various destinations. The concierge is also available to guests waiting while patients are in surgery, helping them secure lodging, ensuring special dietary requirements are met, and everything in between.
